Ultramarines Bordeaux 1987 is the best-known organised ultra group associated with Girondins de Bordeaux.
The group is closely identified with the Virage Sud and has long combined organised matchday support with public campaigns, community solidarity and defence of the club’s identity.
Ultramarines remained highly active in 2026. During Bordeaux’s continuing institutional crisis, the group organised public mobilisation under the message “Le FCGB doit vivre”, supported community donation drives and continued match-related supporter activity.
