The group was formally launched in 2026 with a public opening attended by club officials, local representatives and supporters, presenting itself as a new organised force behind Muşspor.
Its activity continued into the new season. In August 2026, Kurtiğin Aslanları joined Sarı Maraton Taraftarlar Derneği in a joint unity message calling on Muşspor supporters to fill the stands and support the club together.
