Gecekondu is one of the long-established organised supporter groups associated with MKE Ankaragücü and Ankara’s yellow-and-blue terrace culture.
The group is especially identified with the goal-end supporter section traditionally known as Gecekondu and with organised matchday backing for Ankaragücü.
Gecekondu remained clearly active in 2026. In August, the group marked its 54th anniversary with a public gathering at Gençlik Parkı in Ankara, while current coverage also continued to identify it as a leading part of the Ankaragücü supporter scene.
